For 20 years, the Festival of Trees has been a magical family event in the heart of the Merrimack Valley. To continue our celebration of this historic achievement and to share our appreciation for the generosity that has made the Festival so successful, you’re invited to join us for an old fashioned family picnic at Greycourt State Park.

Once the site of the magnificent Tenney Castle, Greycourt State Park is located at the center of Methuen. Our picnic will feature activities for children of all ages, including a decorated bicycle parade, dance and gymnastics demonstrations, sack and three-legged races, egg toss and pie eating contests! Live entertainment provided by the North Shores Dee Jay Billy C! Join our storyteller and his Marvelous Amusing Quack Medicine Show. Spend the day with your friends and neighbors at a good olde fashioned Old Home Day style outing…Lots of prizes, surprises and FUN for all ages with plenty of food and refreshments, plenty of free parking at City Hall and St. Basil’s Seminary!….FREE ADMISSION!
